St. Louis Children’s & KVC Health Systems Youth Mental Health Care
Children and teens are facing unprecedented levels of anxiety and depression. In response, St. Louis Children’s and KVC Health Systems have formed a joint venture to provide innovative mental health treatment for youth ages six to 18. This collaboration includes a 77-bed inpatient hospital, a residential care facility, a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program.
All four levels of care will be located at the KVC Missouri Children’s Mental Wellness Campus in Webster Groves, Missouri. This campus will provide a peaceful, healing environment, with a full continuum of care opening late 2026. With additional programs provided by KVC Missouri, children and their families will be able to access the right level of treatment at every stage of their journey.
In these new programs offered by St. Louis Children’s and KVC, children and teens will be cared for by specially trained pediatric mental health experts. Inpatient and residential care will be operated by KVC’s inpatient treatment team, Camber Mental Health, and outpatient services will be delivered by KVC Missouri. Both teams will work closely with WashU Medicine physicians from St. Louis Children’s, ensuring expert, integrated care for every child.
St. Louis Children’s and Camber Mental Health – Inpatient and Residential Services
Opening Late 2026: St. Louis Children’s and Camber Mental Health will provide inpatient hospitalization and residential treatment in separate wings of a newly built, state-of-the-art 77-bed facility. Both programs will provide children and teens with structured care in safe, therapeutic environments with expert physicians and clinicians guiding youth through their mental health treatment journey.
St. Louis Children’s and KVC Missouri – Outpatient Services
Opening Late 2026: St. Louis Children’s and KVC Missouri will provide outpatient treatment for children and teens, including an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These programs will offer structured, evidence-based treatment that supports youth as they transition between treatment and daily life at home, school and in their community.

KVC Missouri Children’s Mental Wellness Campus
Located in Webster Groves, Missouri, the KVC Missouri Children’s Mental Wellness Campus will bring together eight levels of care in one serene, supportive environment. In addition to the inpatient, residential and outpatient programs provided in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s, this campus includes the KVC Academy therapeutic school for grades K-12 and community-based support services.
